1 Dead, 1 Hospitalized In Fairfield Shooting
A shooting early Tuesday morning in Fairfield resulted in the death of an 18-year-old man, with another victim taken to UAB Hosptial.

FAIRFIELD, AL — A teen is dead and another man has been hospitalized after a shooting Tuesday in Fairfield. The shooting occurred just before 5 a.m. in the 4400 block of Debardeleben Avenue.
Sgt. Joni Money of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said the 18-year-old victim was pronounced dead on the scene. The 23-year-old victim was taken to UAB Hospital, and his condition is unknown at this time.
