1 Dead, 2 Injured After Shooting At Ensley Night Club
Birmingham police are investigating a deadly shooting at the GMV Club in Ensley Sunday.
BIRMINGHAM, AL — A shooting Sunday at a night club in Ensley resulted in the death of a 35-year-old Birmingham man. The shooting occurred just before 2 a.m. at the GMV Club at 1710 Avenue D.
Sgt. Rod Mauldin said police found three gunshot victims on the scene, and all three were taken to UAB Hospital. Jeremy Managan was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. Mauldin said the other two victims' injuries are not life-threatening.
Mauldin said the preliminary investigation suggests that an altercation inside the club escalated into gunfire. No arrests have been made in the case.
