39-Year-Old Birmingham Man Shot, Killed In Monday Argument: Cops
Authorities say they were sent to a Birmingham apartment at about 3 a.m. Monday after an argument escalated into a double shooting.
BIRMINGHAM, AL — A 39-year-old man was shot and killed after Birmingham police say an argument between him and another man resulted in an exchange of gunfire.
According to the Birmingham Police Department, officers from the West Precinct were sent an apartment on the 2300 block of Tempest Drive on a report of a shooting at 3 a.m. Monday.
Authorities say Patrick Watson of Birmingham was shot and killed in the altercation. Police said he was shot multiple times, and was found lying in the living room of the apartment.

Birmingham first responders arrived and began emergency aid, however Watson died at the scene of the shooting, according to police.
Police said the second man was found outside the apartment, lying in the grass and suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to the UAB hospital with life-threatening injuries.
