Happy Friday, Birmingham! Here's what's happening in Birmingham today. A man from Blount County was arrested Wednesday and now faces multiple charges for his participation in the Jan. 6 breach of the U.S. Capitol. He becomes the 11th Alabama resident to be arrested in connection with the events in Washington Jan. 6. Also in the news, the Birmingham Police Department is still trying to locate a woman that has been reported missing since May. Read these stories and more below.
