BIRMINGHAM, AL — An arrest has been made in the Tuesday morning death of Donnika Renee Sills in north Birmingham. Police have charged 20-year-old Kaylin Landon Sparks with capital murder in the case.
Sills was found shot to death just after 3 a.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of 3rd Avenue North. Police say the shooting may have stemmed from a verbal argument that transpired earlier between Sills and Sparks.
