Birmingham police have arrested suspects in two separate homicides from December of 2021.

BIRMINGHAM, AL — Three people were arrested this week in connection with separate Birmingham homicides. Two suspects have been charged in the Dec. 7 death of Jeremy Managan, and one suspect has been charged in the Dec. 14 death of Franklin Winston.
Sgt. Rod Mauldin of the Birmingham Police Department said 37-year-old Tavarus Barnes of Marietta, Ga., and 26-year-old Tyran Lee Walker of Birmingham were arrested and charged with murder in Managan's death.
Managan was shot Dec. 7 at the GMV Club located at 1710 Avenue D in Ensley. The investigation suggested that an altercation between Managan inside the club and the suspects led to the shooting.
