Arson Suspect Sought By Birmingham Police
The Birmingham Police Department needs the public's help in identifying an arson suspect.
BIRMINGHAM, AL — Birmingham police are trying to identify a man they say set fire to a residence in the 4600 block of 13th Avenue North. The incident occurred Friday evening.
Officer Truman Fitzgerald of the Birmingham Police Department said the man poured an accelerant on the home, then threw a Molotov cocktail into the residence. Multiple people were inside the home, but were not injured from the fire.
Police posted a photo of the suspect in the case, and have requested assistance from the public in identifying him:
