Birmingham High School Football Scores 2021: Playoffs Round 1

BIRMINGHAM, AL — The Alabama High School Athletic Association football playoffs begin Friday, with several Birmingham metro teams in the hunt for a state championship.

Class 7A games include Hoover taking on Sparkman and Hewitt-Trussville playing Bob Jones.

First round match-ups in Class 6A Friday include Clay Chalkville hosting Decatur, Jackson-Olin hosting Cullman, Homewood taking on Arab and Mountain Brook playing Southside-Gadsden, among other local games.

Farifield plays Fariview, Centerpoint tales on East Linestone and Ramsay battles Guntersville in 5A play.
