I would like to begin my congratulating Birmingham metro elementary schools and middle schools that had a strong showing in the most recent U.S. News K-8 school rankings. - The Birmingham City Council revoked the business license of Club Euphoria due to "safety concerns." (WVTM13)

- Jefferson County parent has appealed a lawsuit filed after his son, a McAdory High School student, was apparently sent home for refusing to wear a mask. (AL.com)
- A manhunt for an armed robbery suspect in Hoover ended in Vestavia Hills when the man was finally taken into custody Tuesday morning. (Hoover Patch)
- Birmingham City Schools adopted a resolution to “condemn racism and advance equity” Tuesday, in stated opposition to a critical race theory ban (AL.com)
