City Of Birmingham: An Update On Springville Road Library

The Springville Road Library located at 1224 Springville Road in Birmingham has been temporarily closed due to heating problems.

After an extensive evaluation, it has been determined that the boiler at the library must be replaced to provide adequate heating. The city has ordered a new boiler. Due to current supply chain delays, it will take an estimated six weeks for delivery. Upon delivery, installation will take approximately four days.

The project cost is $45,429.

The city will provide updates once the boiler arrives and installation begins.
