  1. During the extreme cold front in Alabama this week, several warming stations will open across the state, including in Birmingham. The Birmingham warm shelter will operate out of the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex from Dec. 22 through Dec. 25. Anyone is welcome to access the warming station as needed.   2. After a Park Place shooting Monday night, one person is dead and two are injured. The dead victim has been identified as 21-year-old DeAnthony Dewayne Samuels. No arrests have been announced and police are currently investigating this incident. (AL.com)
  3. A firefighter reported a minor injury in a commercial building fire Monday. Crews were called to 19th Avenue North around 12:30 p.m. The firefighter has been treated for his injuries and the fire is still being investigated. (WVTM13 Birmingham)
