Magic City Classic Announces $80K Giveaway

BIRMINGHAM, AL — If an 80th anniversary is not enough reason to celebrate, the Magic City Classic has put together an $80,000 giveaway to commemorate the milestone.

This year's Magic City Classic is October 30 at Legion Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.

This giveaway benefits both the winner and one of the schools. One lucky winner will receive a $40,000 check and choose which school, Alabama State University or Alabama A&M University, will receive a $40,000 donation.

"The 80th anniversary of the number one HBCU Classic in the country is a huge milestone and we couldn’t have gotten here without the support from our fanbase across the country," said Perren King, Executive Director of the Magic City Classic. "It’s been two years since we’ve gotten to do a proper Classic, we’re excited to welcome all of our fans back."

The winner will be announced during the 2nd quarter of the game. Fans can enter the giveaway by visiting the Magic City Classic website.
