Police Identify Birmingham Apartment Shooting Victim

Police have identified the man killed Monday afternoon in a shooting at a southwest Birmingham apartment complex

BIRMINGHAM, AL - Police have identified the man killed Monday afternoon in a shooting at a southwest Birmingham apartment complex. Police said the man killed was Clifford Harris, 29.

Harris was hit by gunfire as he walked out of an apartment at the Alameda Terrace Apartments in the 1700 block of Alameda Court about 2:20 p.m., police said. When police arrived at the apartments, they found Harris had been shot multiple times. He died about 6:30 p.m. Monday at UAB Hospital.

Police have not released a motive or information regarding a suspect.
