Former Retail Property To Get $9.5 Million Redevelopment

The Hoover City Council approved $579,634 in tax abatements for a company that plans to invest $9.5 million for its headquarters.

HOOVER, AL — Thanks to the Hoover City Council's passage of more than $500,000 in tax abatements for Revere Control Systems Inc., the company will move forward with redeveloping a former retail property into its corporate headquarters. The company will spend $9.5 million on the plan, according to the Birmingham Business Journal.

Revere provides plant modernization services to water, energy and manufacturing clients across the U.S. and has more than 250 employees across its footprint. The BBJ report says the tax abatements will enable the company to create at least 20 new jobs and retain more than 100 jobs.
