Hoover Will Rezone International Park, Tattersall Park
Hoover will rezone two developments to make way for construction this summer.

HOOVER, AL - Two Hoover developments have been rezoned by the city to make way for further construction. The developments, International Park and Tattersall Park, are located off Acton Road and Highway 280 respectively.
According to a report by the Birmingham Business Journal, 11 acres in International Park have been rezoned from planned office use to planned commercial use. The city did not approve developer Irving Meisler's plan for a mixed-use center with 44 apartments at the site.
The city also zoned the remaining 63 undeveloped acres at Tattersall Park, located near the intersection of U.S. 280 and Alabama 119, as a planned unit development with planned commercial use. Publix may build a grocery store at the development, and Walk-On's Bistreaux and Bar has been confirmed as a tenant. EBSCO Industries, which owns part of the property, had previously unveiled plans for 250 apartments to be built on the site – a plan that drew opposition.
