Stadium Trace Village Project Updates
Zoning plans approved for 40-acre development project in Hoover.

HOOVER, AL— The ongoing project of Stadium Trace Village, located at the intersection of Highway 150 and Stadium Trace Parkway, just received a big win by getting official approval from Hoover’s City Planning and Zoning Commission for the proposed 40-acre lot. The “village center” will host generous retail space, and will also house a medical center and outbuildings for other businesses to purchase. It will be constructed in a pedestrian-friendly manner, like The Summit shopping center in Vestavia Hills.
The land being used for this construction project was a part of larger parcel measuring 155 acres, and has been owned by the same family for almost a century. The development is also using land formerly owned by U.S. Steel.
