Townhome Project Proposed For Site Off U.S. 280
Signature Homes and Terra Equities are asking the city of Hoover to annex 15.5 acres along U.S. 280 to accommodate 120 townhomes.
HOOVER, AL — A new townhome community is in the works in Hoover off U.S. 280. Developers proposed the annexation of 15.5 acres to accommodate 120 townhomes and three commercial buildings totaling about 25,000 square feet, according to the Hoover Sun.
Signature Homes and Terra Equities have asked the Hoover Planning and Zoning Commission to annex the property at 5352 U.S. 280, directly across from the Walmart SuperCenter, which is currently in unincorporated Shelby County.
Signature Homes President Jonathan Belcher told the Commission Monday night that the residential portion of the development is expected to be a $40 million project, according to the Hoover Sun report..
