  1. A nationwide shortage in Adderall, a medication used to treat ADHD, is being felt in Alabama. Ralph Sorrell, the owner of Ritch's Pharmacy in Mountain Brook, advises that users of the prescription drug pay careful attention to the dosage in which it's prescribed. He said there's often a shortage around this time of year given the medication is often prescribed to kids and teens at the start of the school year. (WBRC)
