  1. Alabama held its primary elections Tuesday. You can find the full results at this link. At press time, Katie Britt appeared poised to win the Republican Senate primary, with Will Boyd in the lead for the Democratic. Kay Ivey was leading the Republican Governor's race, and Yolanda Flores had the lead on the Democratic side. (AL.com)
  2. The City of Mountain Brook announced Tuesday that, due to "unforeseen labor shortages" there will be delays in garbage pickup in Spring Valley Court, Westmoreland Drive, North Woodridge Road, Camellia Drive, Country Club Terrace, Dunbarton Drive, Robin Drive, and Ryecroft Road. Officials had planned to run an additional truck to those areas Tuesday. (City of Mountain Brook)
