  1. A suspect is in custody after stealing an ambulance from Granville Medical Center located off of Highway 280, leading police into a car chase. Deputies first saw the ambulance on Wednesday at 7 p.m., and the chase ended at Cahaba Road. (WVTM 13)
  2. Anna Bella Foster from Mountain Brook is competing at-large in the Miss Alabama’s Teen 2023 competition taking place this Sunday, alongside 38 other teens. There are three categories of competition: "physical fitness, talent and evening wear/social impact initiative statement." (AL.com)
  3. The Birmingham Jefferson County Transportation Authority will have to pay $4.3 million after a judge sided with a former employer who sued the agency in 2018, alleging it "did not comply with federal grant money regulations." An Authority spokesperson said the cost would not affect operations for riders or employees. (WBRC 6)
