1. A man was shot by a Birmingham police officer, who had initially responded to reports of a domestic dispute on Clairmont Avenue. When the man in question refused to drop the firearm in his possession, the officer shot him in the foot, where he sustained non-life-threatening injuries. (CBS 42)
2. Mountain Brook High School basketball player Ty Davis received a 2024 offer from Ole Miss University, as well as interest from Purdue, Stanford, Iowa, Missouri and Loyola-Chicago. Davis has been coached by his father, Tyler Davis, who was hired by the school. (247Sports)
3. Authorities have identified the names of three people killed over last weekend in Birmingham and Bessemer. Teresa Denise Coleman, 45, was found in her car unresponsive after it hit a stop sign. A community member had reported gun shots earlier. (AL.com)
