Botanical Gardens Reopens After COVID-19 Shutdown
Birmingham Botanical Gardens reopened this week, with social distancing guidelines in place.

MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — After being closed for weeks due to COVID-19 concerns, Birmingham Botanical Gardens reopened to the public this week.
From June 15 through June 30, the Gardens will be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day of the week, with access limited to the front entrance gates. Visitors are encouraged to practice social distancing. Face masks are required when interacting with others in the Gardens and for entering the Garden Center.
The Birmingham Park & Recreation Board will reassess the Gardens’ hours, which are normally sunrise to sunset, on July 1.
