City Council Passes New Budget For 2022
The Mountain Brook City Council voted unanimously to approve the new Fiscal Year 2022 budget for the city.

MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — The Mountain Brook City Council approved the budget for the new fiscal year, which includes nearly $6 million in capital projects. The budget was approved unanimously in the Sept. 27 meeting, according to Village Living.
Total revenue is projected at $44,029,246 with a surplus of $209,165, according to Steve Boone, the city’s finance director and assistant city manager.
Of the $6 million in capital projects, $4.1 million in funding comes from a bond issue the council approved recently.
