The Mountain Brook Police Department shares that construction work is set to begin on Monday along Culver Road. Only east-bound traffic will be allowed. Work is scheduled to last 7-10 days. (Twitter)- Speaking of construction, major renovations were recently completed at Alabama Adventure and Splash Adventure water park just in time for summer, including a new roller coaster and "Coco Island." The park is open through Labor Day weekend. (CBS 42)
- Construction sites across the Birmingham area are suspending work temporarily before the start of the World Games in July in just over 30 days. Work will be stopped around the areas where game venues are located. (WVTM 13)
