🌱 International Dining In Mountain Brook + Hoover Fire Injures Nine

First, today's weather:

A t-storm around in the p.m.. High: 93 Low: 77.

Here are the top three stories today in Mountain Brook:

1. You won't have to venture fare out of Mountain Brook to get a taste of the countries that will be competing at the Wold Games–which kick off Thursday. Right here in Mountain Brook and Mountain Brook Village there's French and Italian fare, with Pakistani food in Hoover, and Peruvian at Sabor Latino in Homewood. (Yellowhammer News)
2. Out in Hoover, nine people were injured — including five children — when an apartment building caught on fire on Tuesday afternoon. The cause of the blaze is not yet determined. (AL.com)
3. If you're heading into Downtown Birmingham from Mountain Brook over the next few weeks, be aware that quite a few streets will be closed down due to the World Games. Some of the streets include 7th Avenue North, some entrances and Reverend Abraham Jr. Blvd. (WVTM 13)
