The next phase of Mountain Brook's Lane Parke luxury multi-use development is scheduled to be fully open in February or March, with a grand opening celebration in April, Suzanna Edwards, vice president of marketing at Crawford Square Real Estate Advisors, said. Some of the businesses already open include Tasc Performance, Gunn Dermatology and Ignite Cycle. (AL.com)
  2. Village Dermatology, located in the Mountain Brook area, said it raised more than $10,000 at its annual celebration in October. The proceeds will benefit The WellHouse, a nonprofit supporting the female victims of human trafficking. (PR Newswire)
  3. Birmingham Postmaster John Richardson said the latest anyone in the area should ship out a gift this holiday season if it needs to arrive by Christmas is Dec. 17-19. He said the United States Postal Service has expanded its services since last fall and winter. (CBS 42)
