  1. Did you spot Matthew McConaughey over the weekend? The Oscar-winning actor was spotted at Frothy Monkey in downtown Birmingham on Saturday — the second sighting of the star in just a few days. If you're in the downtown area this summer, be on the lookout for McConaughey as he shoots for a new film "The Rivals of Azmiah King" in the greater Birmingham area. (AL.com)
  2. In a recent list of Birmingham's best pizza, two Mountain Brook spots made the top five. Slim's Pizzeria was crowned number five (with a shoutout to its adventurous toppings like hot honey and pancetta), while longtime community restaurant Davenport's Pizza Palace took the number two spot thanks to its "old-school pizza experience." (AL.com)
  3. The Jefferson County Coroner's Office is seeking the community's help to locate the family of a man who died at a senior living community, 71-year-old Thornton Womack Lyon. Lyon may have family living in south central or northeast Florida. If you have any information about his family, you can contact the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office at 205-930-3603. (WBRC)
