  1. Some residents are complaining about an expensive construction project they say has been going on for over five years at 3180 Overhill Road in Old Mountain Brook. They brought their concerns to a City Council meeting on Monday and were told the project was following city regulations. Here's the latest from the Council. (Village Living)
  2. World-renowned sculptor Elizabeth MacQueen, who grew up in Mountain Brook, has recently moved back to Alabama (Huntsville) from Mexico, with a goal "to bring more global artists to this high-tech town." (AL.com)
  3. Ritch's Pharmacy in Mountain Brook is one of thousands across the country dealing with an Adderall medication shortage, including its generic brands. In just one morning the store received 75 calls asking for the drug, according to pharmacist Rebecca Sorrell, who said an initial resupplying could come by the second or third weeks of February.
