1. Mountain Brook High School's football team (3-0) is playing Woodlawn (2-0) Friday at Spartan Stadium. The last time the two teams squared off in September 2, 2021, Mountain Brook beat Woodlawn 49-0. Here's the full Over The Mountain schedule. (Village Living)
2. Birmingham is holding a drive to support Jackson, Mississippi, where the city's water crisis continues. Donations of bottled water and cleaning supplies can be brought to Boutwell Auditorium at 1930 Rev. Abraham Woods Jr. Blvd. through 4 p.m. today. (WVTM 13)
3. The Community Food Bank of Central Alabama is celebrating 40 years in the community this year, during Hunger Awareness Month. The CEO of Feeding America visited the state recently to commend their work and encourage community members to continue working to end hunger. (6 WBRC)
