MBHS Senior Named Distinguished Young Woman Of Alabama

MONTGOMERY, AL — A Mountain Brook High School student has been named the 2022 Distinguished Woman of Alabama. Julianne Abenoja, a senior at MBHS earned the title over the weekend.

Abenoja in the summer of 2021 was named Distinguished Woman of Jefferson County, and joined 45 Alabama women in Montgomery over the weekend, who competed in three programs, showing off their talents in various categories including talent, fitness and interview.

She will go on to represent the state of Alabama in the National Distinguished Young Woman competition in June.
