🌱 Mountain Brook Bans Dogs On City Fields + Rougaroux Second Location

Here are the top three stories today in Mountain Brook:

  1. The Mountain Brook City Council voted to ban dogs from city fields at its last meeting. Council believes the measure is necessary at least through November, due particularly to school sports. The next council meeting is set for September 26. (Village Living)
  2. The popular Forest Park restaurant Rougaroux plans to open another Mountain Brook location in Mountain Brook Village. Jay and Theresa Friedman, the owners of the building it's moving into called the it a "wonderful fit for Mountain Brook Village because it appeals to a wide range of customers and there’s nothing comparable in the Village."   3. Hoover's Georgetown Lake Park is now open after the completion of $70,000 worth of renovations, including "new decking around the park, new lumber on the gazebo and refurbished benches." (WVTM 13)
