Here are the top four stories today in Mountain Brook:

1. Gabe Young from Mountain Brook earned a spot in the Alabama Sports Writers Association's 2022 baseball All-State second-team. The results, which were released on Sunday, are based on submissions from sports writers and commentators across Alabama. (AL.com)
2. Josh, a six-year-old African lion, was recently moved to the Birmingham Zoo from San Antonio, Texas. The Birmingham Zoo is part of a species-survival program, meant to increase the population of endangered animals across the world. The ultimate goal is to introduce Josh to the zoo's female lion, Akili. (Bham Now)
3. Authorities are searching for a teenager from Birmingham, 17-year-old Brayden Butler, who was last seen on June 11, "wearing a gray hoodie, blue/orange t-shirt, and blue jeans." (ABC 3340)
4. Up in Moody, police have arrested six people from Texas for attempting to steal cars from a lot in the city on Thursday morning. The six suspects are being held at the St. Clair County Jail. (AL.com)
