Mountain Brook Elementary Student Wins District Spelling Bee
Ben Brown, a sixth grader at Mountain Brook Elementary, recently won the district-wide spelling bee.
MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — The 2022 District Spelling Bee in Mountain Brook was won recently by Mountain Brook Elementary sixth grader Ben Brown. The competition included five winners across the MBS district.
Alexander Ewers (BWF), Davis Perry (CBS), Trent Boehme (CES) and Olivia Mahoney (MBJH) competed with Ben to represent their respective schools in the competition.
Ben won in the 14th round by correctly spelling "teenagers."

With the win, Ben earned a spot to represent Mountain Brook Schools in the Jefferson County Spelling Bee.
