1. Mountain Brook Mayor Stewart Welch was on Good Day Alabama recently to discuss steps residents can take to protect their property while they are on vacation. His top tips are to not hide spare keys near your front door, to set up an alarm system and to wait until returning home to post photos on social media. 2. In less than one month Birmingham will be hosting the 2022 World Games. Signs are already up across Mountain Brook and the villages welcoming patrons of the games to town. It will take place from July 7-17. (Facebook)
