Mountain Brook PD To Host Self Defense Class

The Mountain Brook Police Department has brought back its annual self defense class for residents of Mountain Brook.

MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — After taking a year off from the program due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Mountain Brook Police Department has brought back its self defense class for Mountain Brook residents.

The class includes teaching of fundamental situational awareness and self defense by sworn Mountain Brook PD instructors. Police officials said this class will fill up fast, so early registration is recommended.

The class meets three nights in a row from Nov. 29-Dec. 1 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The only way to register is by downloading the Mountain Brook Police smartphone App and filling out the form under the Police Services Tab.
