Mountain Brook Restaurant To Host 'Pooches on the Patio'
Vino in English Village incites patrons to dine with their dogs on the patio to celebrate its 10th anniversary.

MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — One of Mountain Brook's most popular eateries is celebrating its 10th anniversary Saturday, and will help the Greater Birmingham Humane Society in the process. Vino, in English Village invites patrons to dine with their dogs on its patio, with proceeds going toward the GBHS.
“It is with overwhelming joy and gratitude that we celebrate Vino’s 10th anniversary,” said Al Rabiee, owner of Vino. “We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than with the community that brought us where we are today, and by giving back to an organization that is near and dear to our hearts.”
The event spans from noon to 9 p.m., but from noon to 2 p.m., Vino will offer its new brunch menu. Vino’s regular menu will be available from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Vino’s beverage menu, featuring Tito’s Handmade Vodka specialty cocktails, will be available throughout the entirety of the event.

The event’s featured drinks—the Pooch Potion and the Meow Mule—will both be made with Tito’s Handmade Vodka. The "Pooch Potion" is a strawberry martini and the "Meow Mule" is a traditional Moscow mule. Tito’s will also be at the event giving out Vodka for Dog People merchandise.
In addition to patrons’ pets attending the event, the GBHS will be onsite with adoptable dogs. Guests can enter to win prizes such as a $100 Vino gift card as well. Additionally, guests will receive a complimentary goody bag with Vino’s famous apple fritters and brownies to take home. Pups will also receive a complimentary treat bag. In the case of rain, Vino’s patio features two covered areas for guests.
