Mountain Brook Spartans Look To Rally Against Spain Park

MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — After two straight losses, the Spartans are looking for a win at home against the Spain Park Jaguars on Friday. The Spartans fell in a decisive 40-13 loss to Thompson last week, struggling the week before against Hoover.

Spain Park also fell to in-city rival Hoover last week in a close 27-24 match. Last year's meeting between the Jags and the Spartans was just as close: Mountain Brook managed to beat Spain Park 23-21. Spain Park leads the series overall, though, with eight wins to Mountain Brook's five.
