Here are the top three stories today in Mountain Brook:
- The Mountain Brook Planning Commission is considering a proposal to rezone a 4.2 acre lot next to Mountain Brook Village to allow for a new development that would include apartment buildings, which appear to be three-four stories tall according to renderings. The final vote will likely take place on August 1. (Village Living)
- Here's your latest dispatch from the World Games. Sumo restling, a traditional Japanese sport, had its Alabama debut on Saturday at the World Games championships.
