MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — Mountain Brook High School's wrestling team made Alabama high school sports history Tuesday night, hosting the first AHSAA-sanctioned outdoor wrestling match at Spartan Stadium.

The event was put on thanks to head coach Justin Ransom, assistants Andrew Scofield, Bo Bailey, Joe Webb and Will Davis and all the Spartan wrestlers.

The idea came about a few years ago, according to Mountain Brook Schools officials, but with the addition of the new video board in the stadium, the dream became reality.
