  2. Alabama Sen. Tommy Tuberville has announced his nominations to a variety of different U.S service academies. Among the 48 students selected are several from Mountain Brook High School, including Alexander Watkins Roberts for the Military Academy, Mallie Robinett for the Merchant Marine Academy, and Mallie Whittle Robinett for the Naval Academy.
