  1. Rheumatology Associates, located in Office Park, is the latest member of the Mountain Brook Chamber of Commerce after a ribbon cutting ceremony at its new facility. According to the Chamber, "the practice consists of seven board-certified and highly trained physicians that treat rheumatologic diseases." (Mountain Brook Chamber via Instagram)
  2. The back gate closest to I-459 at Mountain Brook High School will be closed during overnight hours starting on Dec. 19, the school has announced, due to increased nighttime traffic flow through the school's campus. (Mountain Brook Schools via Twitter)
  3. A teenager was left wounded after an afternoon shooting in Birmingham yesterday at the 300 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. Police said the victim is in stable condition. (AL.com)
