New PTO Council Presidents Named For Mountain Brook Schools
The PTO Council presidents were named recently for the 2021-22 school year in Mountain Brook.
MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — The 2021-22 school year in Mountain Brook starts in just a matter of weeks, and Mountain Brook Schools announced Tuesday the new presidents for the PTO Council for the upcoming school year.
“My hope for the year ahead is that we can work on coming together as a school community as we build on past success and grow towards a stronger future,” said Maretta Ashford, who will serve as the MBS PTO Council President this year.

Margaret Anne Schilder; Brookwood Forest Elementary
Schilder served on BWF's PTO for the past three years - as Forest Fling Chair and as VP Communications. She has two sons, Drew and Jack.

Kristi Chopin; Cherokee Bend Elementary
Chopin has served three years on the PTO Board at Cherokee Bend, as the VP of Technology and President-Elect in prior years. She has three children in school at Cherokee Bend (Bryce, Anna Kate and Bennett.
Shannon Holt Crestline Elementary
Holt, who is a Crestline alum, has four children, spread among every level of Mountain Brook schools - Ward, Ann Park, Sam and Maggie
Amy Moore; Mountain Brook Elementary
Moore served as Hospitality Chair, VP of Communications, and President-Elect for the MBE PTO in recent years. She has two children, Sally and Davis.
Mandi Cooper; Mountain Brook Junior High
Cooper previously served as the first Vice President of the PTO at MBJH and prior to that was the VP of Volunteers at MBE for the 2018-19 school year. She has two children, Cate and Boyd.
Amy Roberts; Mountain Brook High School
Roberts previously served as president for the Cherokee Bend PTO, and has continued her involvement in the PTO at MBHS. She has two sons, James and Alex.
