Ollie Irene To Reopen In Crestline Village

Ollie Irene, which closed last year, will take the place of Tracy's Restaurant.

MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — A well-loved Birmingham restaurant is making a reappearance this week, according to the Birmingham Business Journal. Ollie Irene will be reopening in a new location in Crestline Village.

The restaurant, which closed its Culver Road storefront to accommodate a new development, will reopen on Tuesday on Church Street. Ollie Irene's Facebook page posted in January that the restaurant will take the place of Tracy's Restaurant, having been picked by Tracy's owner Jimmy Tracy to take his space.

Before its closing, Ollie Irene was a staple in the Birmingham food scene, and has already been listed as one of Zagat's "must try's" and making Southern Living's list of Top 100 Restaurants in the South.
