Recycling Service To Resume In Mountain Brook
Recycling pickup in Mountain Brook will resume next week after a suspension of service that began in September.
MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — After a suspension of service of nearly two months, recycling pickup will resume in Mountain Brook Nov. 15.
Service was suspended in mid-September after Waste Management trash and recycling service did not reach 164 streets in the community. The Mountain Brook City Council agreed to suspend recycling to free up a truck for trash pickup.
"Your pickup will be on the same day as it was before the suspension," city manager Sam Gaston said. "Pickup is once per week curbside, same day as garbage."
