1. Sunday the United States commemorated the 21st anniversary of the terrorist attack on 9/11 in New York City. AL.com has published a list of the 140 soldiers from Alabama that were killed on that day and in the war on terror during the following years. (AL.com)
2. In Hoover, residents remembered 9/11 in a ceremony held on Sunday, by climbing 110 floors in the Galleria Office Tower, in remembrance of the 110 floors in the World Trade Center Twin Towers. (WVTM 13)
3. A car crashed on a walking path in Vulcan Park last week. First responders say no people were injured and are investigating the cause. (WVTM 13)
4. One week after a wave of violence in Birmingham, the city's schools are hoping to encourage students to join after-school activities. School officials said they have not thus far found a close link between gang activity and recent acts of violence. (6 WBRC)
