Update From Mountain Brook Schools On Construction Projects

MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — Anyone who has driven through the carpool line at Brookwood Forest or seen the grounds at Cherokee Bend knows that a great deal of construction is happening at Mountain Brook's campuses.

The school system recently released drone footage updating the progress of the multiple projects happening throughout the school system.

Among those projects, some other improvements on MBS campuses include Crestline Elementary's recently-installed "Lu Interactive Playground" in the school's gym. This new tool is used for immersive and interactive learning.

As well, the Cherokee Bend PTO raised funds for new furniture for the CBS lunchroom.

At Brookwood Forest, kindergartners used the construction going on at their campus for a learning experience, and met some of the contractors working on the new BWF building. They saw concrete footings being poured and asked an abundance of questions about construction, the job site and everything in between.
