Waste Management Fined For Issues With Mountain Brook Service

Approximately than 500 homes in Mountain Brook didn't have their trash picked up as scheduled Wednesday.

MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — After approximately 500 Mountain Brook residents did not receive trash pick-up service Wednesday, Waste Management received a hefty penalty. The company was fined more than $25,000, according to a WVTM report.

The issues with Waste Management have been ongoing for roughly three months, according to Mountain Brook city manager Sam Gaston.
