1. Waste management was unable to complete garbage pickup on many streets Wenesday, including Somerset Circle, Shannon Lane and Rockledge Road due to "mechanical issues." The company will be completing all routes today. (City of Mountain Brook)

3. With municipal City Council elections just around the corner, the Mountain Brook Chamber of Commerce has put together a handy video featuring all the candidates. It gives each one a chance to make their pitch to voters. From proposing a concert series to unite neighboring communities, to school curriculum, to addressing flooding, they discuss it all.
