1 Dead, Firefighters Injured In House Fire In St. Clair County
One person died and three firefighters were injured in a mobile home fire near Pell City Sunday morning.
ST. CLAIR COUNTY, AL — One person is dead and three firefighters were injured in a mobile home fire near Pell City Sunday. The incident occurred on Okalona Road just after 2 a.m., according to an ABC 33/40 report.
The Wolf Creek Fire Department reported that St. Clair County deputies tried to rescue the person inside the mobile home through a window, but were unsuccessful.
Fire department from Wolf Creek, Cook Springs and New London sent 10 vehicles and 17 firefighters to the fire and were on the scene for five hours.
