Parents in Trussville can mark the first day of school coming later this summer.
TRUSSVILLE, AL — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Trussville, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in Trussville City Schools and Jefferson County Schools.
The calendar features a staggered start for students across K12 - with last names A-M beginning school on August 11 and students whose last names begin with N-Z beginning school on August 12. Friday, August 13, 2021, will be the first day of school for all students.
Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change as the coronavirus pandemic nears its year-and-a-half point. A mix of in-person, virtual and hybrid learning is still possible in Trussville.
